Digital device to objectively assess de the colour change and staining (colour fastness) of textiles fibre strips that are used in quality control, e.g. for analysis of wash fastness.
System consists of a colour scanner and the SmartScan software.
Features:
– Scanner characterisation to give the best colorimetric data for the sample being scanned
– Colour difference between the samples in CIELAB and CIEDE2000 formulae
– Color fastness assessment / grading against ISO A04 and A05 grey scales.
The high performance scanner is ideally suited for fastness grading since it possesses uniform illumination so that there is no need to use a light booth.
