Since more than 160 years Xetma Vollenweider as a company with long-standing traditions is developing and manufacturing textile finishing systems with German quality and Swiss precision. At Domotex 2013 Xetma Vollenweider (Hall 5, Booth A64\/1) presented their\u00a0latest innovations.The wide and innovative technology portfolio includes the product line Level Touch (carpet shearing), Soft Touch (brushing and emerizing), Plush Touch (raising), Even Touch (shearing) and Clean Touch (cloth cleaning) as well as special solutions for different kinds of applications.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Xetma Vollenweider Heavy Shearing Units for top performance and precesion, even with heavy materials with very dense pile<\/sub><\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n

Besides\u00a0the wide range of applications in textile finishing for the apparel, home and technical textile industries, Xetma Vollenweider offers a wide range of carpet shearing solutions for all kinds of textile floor coverings. With the new developed shearing machine X-PLORE XCS the German-Swiss company does justice to its reputation as longest-standing manufacturer of shearing machines in the world. With a nominal width up to 6.000 mm best shearing results for all kinds of woven and tufted carpets, needle felts and artificial turf can be reached. The extremely precise Xetma Vollenweider Heavy Duty Shearing Units\u00ae are equipped with a hydraulic pressure and lift-up system as well as an integrated dust removal channel. Special pile preparation systems prior to shearing guarantee an optimal finishing of textile floor coverings in wide widths. Another highlight are the different web cleaning and pile preparation solutions of Xetma Vollenweider. These are individually customized for the relevant application and therefore can be perfectly adapted to the specific production process of each customer. For the finishing of high quality woven velours for upholstery textiles and light weight carpets Xetma Vollenweider offers a special compact finishing line. All necessary process steps can be combined to the customers needs by the modular design. High operating comfort and considerably less space and energy consumption as for conventional production lines ensure a competitive advantage in the market for the customer. With all these new and further developments, the German-Swiss company is setting again new standards in the field of textile surface finishing.
