As of 18 February 2019,\u00a0Reifenh\u00e4user Group acquires Plamex Maschinenbau GmbH, Kelberg.<\/strong><\/p>\n Plamex is a specialized supplier of blown film lines<\/strong> and extrusion\u00a0components<\/strong>. Its core competences are blown film lines for water-cooled\u00a0and biaxially oriented films for the medical and food packaging industry. \u00ab\u00a0We are proud to be part of the Reifenh\u00e4user Group. \nThe company will continue its operations under the name Reifenh\u00e4user\u00a0Blown Film Plamex GmbH & Co. KG. Managing directors are Maximilian\u00a0Herchenbach and Manfred Kurscheid. Jochen Herchenbach retires from\u00a0the management, but keeps available for consultation.
\nThe acquisition expands the Reifenh\u00e4user Groups\u2019 product range to\u00a0include an innovative technology for flexible film production<\/strong>. \u00ab\u00a0The\u00a0extremely efficient water cooling keeps the polymer in amorphous state\u00a0and produces a particularly glossy and transparent film with remarkable\u00a0puncture resistance and very good barrier properties.
